The Tech Steering Committee, which is made up of Rippleside Elementary staff, Aitkin High School staff, and also district administration, has been working to assist with direction and needs for technology. The committee have been helping staff and students around the school.
The committee decided to lease MacBook air computers for the next four years. They were having issues with deciding if they should charge a fee towards the parents in case of damage, but in the end decided to only charge if it happens.
