The Art of Art

This past school year students involved in Ms.Reals art classes have been producing masterpieces in every genre and medium, and now there has come a day for a select few to show their genius to the world at large. The Beanery is hosting an art show in conjunction with The Riceland Whitetail Chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunter's Association, to display artwork that has a nature driven image. The show offered cash rewards for placing pieces. The art was separated into 4 different categories and winners were decided from there. The winners for each category were Bryce Haugly (ceramics), Samuel Morris (Prints), Shianne Teas (Painting), as well as Taylor Ehnstrom and Sarah Pederson tieing for first in the scratch board category.
Yet again Aitkin High School shows its prowess in the arts, capturing people's minds and holding their hearts hostage with the artistic masterpieces that surpass the mortal bounds and our senses as we know them. Gazing upon the expanse of glorious art one may think to themselves “Is this the creme de la creme of human accomplishment? Have we as a race reached the peak of our creativity? What's left for the people of earth to do?” and so we wander, searching for creative fulfillment to fill the void left in us by this art show.
