Friday, April 10 was a big night at the local coffee shop in Aitkin, also known as the Beanery. Student Council hosted a Talent show. All the proceeds from the talent show went to “Kids Against Hunger.” It cost $5.00 to get in the doors.
The show featured many talents, including special guest Miss Minnesota Savannah Cole, an accomplished vocalist and who also taught violin for 4 years and has been a figure skater for 13 years. Talk about Talent!
Student Council thinks this is going to be a big hit for the “Kids Against Hunger” Campaign. There will also be prizes! Unfortunately they did not have the drumming contest.
