The truth about the trophy cases

AHS has a lot of trophies, but we don’t have enough space. Our students have exceeded our standards and we are very proud, but the trophy cases need work. There is limited space on our trophy cases for all the trophies that Aitkin has. We should keep the first place trophies here at AHS, and put them into the main trophy case. If there is room to keep some more trophies, then we would put the second place trophies in the main hallway as well.
Here at AHS, we have a back-up on trophies. We have an overflow, which extends to the locker rooms and extra closets. We have kept all of the trophies, but no one can see them if we aren’t displaying them already. It also takes up space that our students need to be able to have extracurricular activities, like space in the locker rooms. If we can organize and simplify the cases, we could showcase even more of our Gobbler pride.
AHS has a lot of history in our trophies, so I think it would be cool to have them organized by year. It shows how far the Gobbler Nation has come, and it gives us the inspiration to keep working tirelessly. As of currently, we don’t have any AHS Policy in the handbook regarding how the trophies and cases should be managed. I think it shouldn’t be on the back burner any longer, because it could give us more inspiration. It would be refreshing to switch the trophies up, especially with spring cleaning around the corner!
We have wall space on the second and third floor and in the back hallways. We could use the empty space to showcase even more trophies. We could also showcase some of the student-athletes currently at high school. They work very hard and deserve to be credited for it. We could also keep up to date on cleaning the cases, and keeping the glass of the cases clean as well. I think the staff and students could all take better care of the area because it's very meaningful to the school. I believe everyone can learn and experience success, and Aitkins’ trophy cases should be proof of that.
