Stephanie Blazek is an outstanding senior at Aitkin High School. She is one of three captains on the 2015-16 varsity basketball team and is also on the varsity softball team.
Blazek says that her most challenging class is Public Speaking because she struggles with speaking in front of groups, but she hopes to improve this skill. Her favorite class is Ceramics because it’s relaxing, easy, and the people make it fun. “Steph has great focus and she always manages to make something beautiful,” art teacher Ms. Real said.
In her free time, Blazek enjoys spending time with her family. She believes that they are very important in life, since she never knows when she could lose them. She looks to her mother for inspiration because she is a strong role model and helps Blazek with any problems she may have.
After high school, Blazek plans on going to Advanced Individual Training for the National Guard and will be going to Fort Jackson, South Carolina this summer for basic training. She is looking forward to graduating because she is excited to explore new options.
