The Aitkin BPA Competition team left on March 11 bright and early to make it to Minneapolis for State at the Hyatt Regency. Eighteen competitors left our school in high spirits. Bo Workman said, “Well, it takes a little something called awesome, and making sure that we bring the swim trunks.” They were able to keep the spirit high the entire time.
On March 12, feeling confident, Aitkin did ¨Awesome,¨ Workman said. The students who placed were: Hunter Conway (11th grade), who received fifth in Computer Networking Technology; Tucker Schwartz (ninth grade), who received second in Information Technology Concepts; Emili Lane (12th grade), who placed top ten in Legal Office Procedures; and Heather Gaukle, Brynn Wilson, Angel Beaufeaux, and Kayla Ryan (all ninth grade), who were top ten in Administrative Support Team.
