The phone of Aitkin High School
By Austin Brush and Ashley Johnson Posted March 11, 2015 Aitkin High School students love their phones… In AHS there are two basic popular phones. These are the iPhone and Galaxy series. These are very popular throughout the world, not just in Aitkin, however, we have adopted them as our own. Phones are a great way of getting in touch, searching for things on the internet, or killing some extra time, but which one is the best? If you ask different people, they are certain to disagree at some point. As Raven Krueger said, “I prefer my iPhone because my Galaxy sucked and my iPhone has never broken on me.” The iPhone remains metal, while the Galaxy has a plastic body. However, a counter argument would be something like what Kyle Kliewer, an owner of the Galaxy for 6 years said, “[The Galaxy] is easier to use and doesn’t shatter.” When asked how it is more reliable, he explained, “I can drop it a lot and it doesn’t break. I dont have to change [phones] as much.” The newest Galaxy S5, is 56 percent faster, thicker by 1.2mm (being 8.2mm thick), and is also water resistant. Overall, it seems to be that the distribution of Galaxy and iPhone series’ phones is pretty even throughout the high school, making it a fairly even all-around controversy. |
