Senior lot should be for seniors only

Recently this year there has been an uproar about who can park in the tar lot. From the beginning of this school year we have had many sophomores park there, leaving a lot of seniors to park on the streets. Now with more sophomores getting their licenses they feel more accepted seeing other sophomores park there, leaving more seniors, like myself, on the streets. We have 92 kids in our senior class, which if all 92 kids in our grade drove to school, the tar lot still wouldn't have enough space to fit all the vehicles.
The seniors always liked having a lot to themselves, but over the past years it has been an ongoing problem as the sophomores find parking there more acceptable. Cody Zebro said, “I feel that the seniors should have priority parking over the sophomores and juniors. I pull into the tar lot hoping to find a spot, but usually every spot is filled by a mix of students. This is a problem because, as a senior, I can't find a parking spot most mornings. So, I end up having to park farther away on the street, sometimes causing me to be late to class. The seniors are superior to other students and should not be treated equally, we are better and should be treated better and have some privileges over them.”
Zachary Richter weighed in on the current issue saying, “I feel this year’s seniors have been much more tolerant towards the sophomores parking there than seniors in the years prior, and for this reason, the sophomores should respect our tradition of parking in the tar lot. Seniors can walk right to their lockers through the North Entry and save time in that way. I would also like to add that the tar lot has always been a place where seniors could meet up after school and hang out without having to worry about newer drivers, who may not have as much experience in parking and driving at a reasonable speed.”
Paul Karelis our principal also had a comment to say about what and who the parking lot is for, "The parking lot is made for students it can't be a only senior lot because it would be a discrimination against other students."
The school has provided us with two lots for students to park, but the seniors should be able to have their own lot when the dirt lot still has space to park for the underclassmen every morning. The underclassmen will get their year to park there when they're seniors. All I want to see changed is for the tar lot to be filled up with more seniors and less underclassmen.
