The Aitkin girls basketball team played the Crosby-Ironton Rangers on Tuesday night. While the game was fun to watch, the girls couldn’t pull out the win and took the loss by a score of 57-50.
“Some of their bench players hit key shots and that ended up being the difference in the game,” said Maggi Fellerman, who led the Gobblers with 18 points on the night.
The loss makes their record 15-8, good enough to be fourth in Section 7AA just behind the C-I Rangers. The Gobblers next game is on Thursday, at home versus Staples-Motley.
